An AI search engine: answers questions with citations to live web sources rather than relying on training data. Every claim links back to where it came from, which makes it far easier to verify than a plain chatbot answer. Focus modes narrow the search to academic papers, Reddit, or specific domains.

The tool that changed how I do research, mainly because of the citations.

Where it winsAnything that depends on current information — pricing, releases, news, comparisons. Being able to click through to the source and check whether the summary is fair is the difference between a useful answer and a plausible-sounding guess. Pro search handles multi-step questions well.

Where to be carefulIt is a search tool, not a reasoning tool — for maths, code or long-form writing it is the wrong instrument. Summaries occasionally flatten nuance from the source, so for anything consequential, read the link.

VerdictReplace your default search engine with this for research work. Keep a separate assistant for tasks that are not about finding things out.
